volume slider

Does anyone know how to make a volume slider? If not how about a way to kill the music when the file loops. Go to

to see what I mean. I want the viewer to be able to kill music but my animation needs to loop so the music keeps repeating.

thanks, I appreciate that, unfortunately I don't know how to work with movie clips, so it's not going to work. I can't get them to work the way you do, they just sit there static like. I'm always using tweens, so your code doesn't seem to want to work.
