Has anyone had problems with the IP sets. I have i2004 sets on a BCM 3.6. They are complaining that they can't use the speaker phone function because it cuts out the caller on the other end all the time.

Thanks for the help..

not a full duplex speaker. If there is alot of background noise it will cut out. You can test this by pressing the mute key and see if volume issue goes away.

Is this true of the digital sets as well? I have a 400 in a prison and the control room says that they cant hear the other person on speakerphone when their 2-way radios are in use.
we also had a problem with volume on incoming and outgoing calls on the GATM-8's that we put on the system. Nortel sent us some of the anphenol cables with built-in resistors that they are sending out as a fix for volume issues on the 50's and the problem went away.

Yes the digital sets as well. The only full duplex is the audio conference unit. The other volume isssue may be a bad GATM-8.

Good luck!
