One of my users has a complaint that the volume on her 5330e phone is too low. So she increases it, but the next time someone phones her, the volume has gone back down. Is there setting for default phone volume, or does she just have a wonky phone?
Tell her not to set the volume to the Maximum level. By design, Max reverts to standard. Any other level will hold as long as you have the COS option set to do so.
Option Handset Volume Adjustment Saved (Default value = No)
Even with this parameter set to "Yes," the handset volume will revert to the default

[li]if the volume was saved at its maximum level.[/li]

May a little too late but just thought of giving my 2 cents on this one.
kwbMitel is correct, by design (to avoid hearing damage) all handsets cannot be permanently set to max. It will revert after a reboot.
To overcome this, basically set the volume to max and then go down one level (max -1).
This will hold the volume to this level even after reboot.
