New to the IP office. I set up vmail for the main hunt group. It takes a message, but when you go to check it it is not their. I made sure that in manager vmail email setting was turned off. Any Ideas 2.1.27 ip office vmpro

How do you listen to the voicemail.

I always make a shortcode like.

*99
"?Anonymous"
Voicemail
0

It wil asks the mailbox number and pincode.
Don,t forget to set a pincode for the huntgroup.
This always works.

At the user source number put H100 (100 is the number of the huntgroup) so the lights go on, on a station.

I think you are in the wrong mailbox

I set up a pin code. I dialed *17 200# and the password. It said that I am in the right voicemail box, but their are no messages in them. I also did the HMain in the sourcecode of the extension I wanted to get notified. Thanks for any Help!!!

I did the shortcode id still did not work

In the voicemail server you can see if there is really a Message.

programfiles/avaya/ipoffice/VMPro/VM/Accounts/Main(name huntgroup)

No message in their. It is crazy. Everybody else works correctly, but this is tghe only hunt group.

Try to rename the huntgroup and make a new message.
It will also make a new folder in the VMPro-Server.
And look in this folder if you have a message.
Maby there is something with your name of the huntgroup.

You can use the administrator tool it will tell you if there are names or numbers that are not good.

I created another huntgroup instead and it worked. It must have been corrupt. I thought I was missing something.
Thanks for your help.

There's always the monitor program as well - this will tell you exactly what the problem was (or at least pointed you in the right direction) - but at least you've solved it now :)

Old school Alchemy engineer - trying to keep up with the times :)

Did you accidently tyoe a space on the engd of the group name?
