Voive Logger backup tapes - DDS3 DAT

I have a voice logger version 8.7 using a DDS3 deck using for automatic archiving.

Is it possible to retrieve DDS3 tape that was created on a logger version 8.7 on Logger version 7.64?

8.7 loggers and dos 7.64 loggers can coexist together.

so as long as both loggers are added in nice admin as part of same system then yes tapes from 8.7 can be retrieved in 7.64 logger.

However tapes created in a 7.64 system cannot be retrieved in a 8.7.


Use nice backup to specify 7.64 as retrieval logger and tick box in nice admin to use it for retrieve
