Hi all,

I have Opt81C running on rel 22.43.

If we were to implement Cisco VoIP call manager, can the existing release of my PABX support Cisco VoIP? Will connecting via E1 become a problem?

Will rel22.43 able to accept IP calls from Cisco VoIP Call Manager (via E1 link)?

Appreciate advice.

Thanks.

hi
we have an option11 rel 23.something and we were told that we need rel 25.40 so we could use VOIP..... Colin

We use the Cisco Call Manager and we started it on Release 23, we have moved the equipment and we are going to install it on 25.3.

You have to consider that it is only a PRI/DTI link to the Cisco box. Once that connection is established the Call Manager will do all the routing. It works fine.

You will be making that T1 connection to the Cisco box, just as you would to an ATM box or Cable Modem Server. To the PBX it is just a connection to an outside server. The Cisco, should have emulation types to make the connection.

Hope this helps.
