Have any of you seen the TV show 24 with the little pda like devices that they have mounted next to each computer. When they call each other it shows a live stream of the person in front of it.

We are looking to implement a system similiar to that for our executive board and cabinet. We want to mount a web cam to the monitor and then have a software install that will allow them to have a list of contacts, call anyone on that list, and also see the video of them.

I know yahoo messenger and other chat programs allow this... but we want a solution that was designed for voip with video.

Thanks in advance for any info you may leave!!

Take a look at Netmeeting. If you are just placing internal network calls then it may be worth looking at. Best of all its free. Built into Windows. Kind of hard to find on XP but from start and run just type conf and it will start. Something to start with anyway.
