VOIP Trunks and Caller ID on PRI

Hey Guys

When i am sending caller ID, using the Business name under feature settings, out on my PRI (ex - ABC Company + extension) it causes my voip trunk calls to hang up after about 2 seconds. When i erase the business name it works fine. The pri is on a BCM 400 4.0 which connects to a BCM 50 1.0 usuing H323 trunks.

I noticed that when I uncheck send name display under the ip trunk settings it works. Does anyone know how to fix this problem and still send name.

If you are doing an H323 to PRI tandem, then I would guess it is more likely that the PRI is hanging up. Look at the UIP trace on the tandem node
