I have a BCM 3.6 today with 4- H.323 trunks that we purchased. Can I dial an 8 or 7 and pull dial tone from my remote switch using an exisiting WAN that comes back to my main office? I have an opt. 81C with Succssion 4.0 and a siganling server in place today at my main site.

you could set up a access code to the VOIP lines and in call routing have the 8 converted to an access code on the meridan or you could have 8 as the access code and in call routing tell the system to strip 0 digits.

Then on the meridan have an 8 as the access code set up and point to the route you want the calls to leave by.

You could for example have the user on the BCM dial 8 and have call routing absorb the 8 and output 9 accross the link this will pickup the route on the meridan and dial out providing the VOIP lines are configured correctly on the meridian.

Hope this makes sense
