I have set up a VoIP trunk between a IP403 and a S8500/G6500.
One problem I am running into is any calls originating from g650 side to IP 403 time out after 15 seconds or 3 rings. I able to answer call before 3rd ring and talk.
If call originated from IP 403 to g650 side. No problems it will ring until someone answers or VM picks up.
All options on IP403 verifed
Options on G650 in seem to be correct.
We are waiting for Avaya to tell us what is wrong.
It appears from traces we have done the call is getting disconnect signal from the G650.
Any information or ideas would be helpful.
Thanks!

Do you have Voicemail Pro or Lite on the 403 side?

Vm doesn't matter on this problem. It will ring 3 times and drop wether or not an extention has Vm attached to it.

It's just that it looks like it's going to coverage and not making it, which would be VM. If you don't have VM Pro installed with the IP Office, then it won't cover to Audix VM unless you have the Audix License installed and configured.

Have you tried a list trace on the Definity side to see if that reveals any details?

Yes this issue is fixed. Apparently Avaya 4 th tier knew of the issue and gave me a patch for the 8500 to fix.
