Hello,

We have 2 Nortel PBX systems in 2 differrent buildings.
The 2 sites are connected with 2 Cisco routers 2621 and E1 controller card in each carring data traffic normally.

we are trying to make a VoIP peer to peer connection between the 2 buildings.
we can ping each PBX from the other one but the VoIP connection is not working.

Should there be any special configuration on the router side to allow such traffic to pass.

Sounds like you have the pbx terminated into each 2621. You will need some h323 pots and voip dialpeers to get it to work. It does work, as I just completed something very similiar to yours.

In my setup, I have two locations, each with a old tdm pbx connected to a 2821 into a voice e1 port, using qsig. Then each 2821 has a serial point to point that connects to each other. after routing is up, you will just need dialpeers to achieve what you want, sending calls from one pbx to the other . In each 2621xm, you will need some pvdm resources and what ever connectivity you need to connect the pbx to the router.
