We have a PIX 515e and documentation to configure a Teleworker IP Phone solution says to allow our IP Phone subnet to communicate with the public ip of the teleworker server.

Could someone elaborate on how that would be possible?

thanks

think we need more info to be able to help you. what is the problem you are having?

It's not what you know. It's who's on Tek-Tip's

We were able to figure this out, it was quite confusing. We had to setup two translation rules to translate the teleworker ip in our dmz to a public static ip on the firewalls inside interface and outside interface.

Overall it took us about 5 hours w/ firewall configurations to fiannly get the teleworker server working 100%

Excellent, glad it is now working for you.

I am having an issue with a teleworker phone where it loses connection multiple times a day. Here is the log:

1st msg
ICP has lost contact with (75.143.186.68 (08-00-0F-3A-DD-A4)), motfcc cluster pool free: 3054 and low water mark: 2924

2nd msg
Maintenance: Category(General); msgFormatId(0) An IP device, with DN 4398, registered at CDP L2 MAC address Not Supported, CDP L2 Port Not Supported, CDP L2 IP Address

Could this simply be that the end-user has a poor internet connection, or is there anything else that i can check or adjust?

thanks
