I am good with the concepts of needing and sizing of the strict priority queue over a WAN link for VOIP RTP traffic and how that number relates to the Interzone BW settings. Normally I will set up a second "lower" classification for signaling traffic that has lower priority than the RTP traffic, but higher priority than the default data traffic. My question is how big this queue should be compared to the RTP queue? Is it a set amount per call or is it a % of the RTP queue? I can't find anything in the Nortel docs that discuss this.

Any thoughts?

You would think so, but it only reads that 3 levels of priority should be accounted for:

1-VOIP RTP
2-VOIP Signaling
3-Best Effort

It doesn't go through how much BW is needed for number 2.

Thanks
Rob
