What is the standard requirements for a VOIP Router to be used with an IP office? H323 etc. Does any router with QOS work?

Secondly, What are the limitations of the IP office built in router?

Thanks as always.

If you use an external router it needs to support difserv

Limitations

this is hard to qualify, top end routers offer many advanced functions which are rarly used.

these features are not implemented in the IPO which origanly only supported Static routing & NAT, although additional features have been added in V2.0+ (RIP & VPN tunneling)

If you only require Site to site routing then the IPO is more than capable, if you realy require RIP, Vlan, VPN & any other bells & whistles then a dedicated router is probably better.
