Hello

Can anyone help me with developing a voip IVR solution that needs to record the two way conversation to disk.

I am using CT-ADE with Dialogic HMP, but support on CT-ADE is very minimal.

I simply need to accept an incoming call in an HMP IVR solution. The user will eventually be routed to an operator. Once the operator is connected to the incoming call, I need to record the two way conversation to disk for review later.

I can do all the work for the IVR to accept the calls, but there is no simple way to route the call to an operator and record the conversation.

CT-ADE includes a function to record audio from a media resource (RecordFile), but this only works on one line (ie the incoming line, not the two way conversation). There is mention in the help files about recording simultaneously from two timeslots, but there are no samples to help me. This seems to need an SC-bus which I am uncertain if HMP supports in software?

If this is not possible from CT-ADE, is there an alternative method for recording the voip conversation? Intel have a whitepaper at but I was hoping to integrate the recording into the IVR solution so we can simply route the call to an operator then tell the IVR to record the conversation.

Any help on this would be very appreciated.

Does anyone know of any expert CT-ADE forums that I can use?

Many thanks

Paul

Moosesys,

Is CT-ADE an absolute requirement? Asterisk would do what you want simply and setup is quick and easy.

Hello wofting

Unfortunately we have an extensive ivr solution written in .NET and CT-ADE running on windows, but haven't managed to get two way conversations to record as it is a now a new requirement.

Paul.

If you try to make a conference? Read how to make a conference with your pbx.

What type of phone/pbx is your operator using? Is the call arriving on a T1/E1 trunk at the IVR? Is your IVR capable of sending cti?

There are several options open to you here trunkside recording, station side recording or VoiP recording but more info is required.

When I was born I was so suprised I didn't talk for 18 months
