I have to BCM 50 2.0 systems with SIP trunks between them. Is there a way a user in one system can page to the other system.

Not through the BCMs SIP connection. I hear there are other ways, some type of VoIP paging accessory.

Hook your paging system to a trunk port then build a remote access package to that line.

The remote access package is a good idea but the systems have long distance charges between them.

I wonder if the hardware from valcom will only page external speakers and not nortel sets. By reading the site it doesn't seem as though you can

Do you mean it will work over nortel sets. The distance part i was referring to was using the remote access package on an analog trunk. I meant long distance charges not physical distance

What Im refering to is a trunk port from system B hooked to the paging interface. Then give system A access to that trunk(with remote access package) and page away. No calls are made your using the network to access the trunk.

That sounds possible, have you done it succesfully before?

Thanks guys. I knew there was a way just didn't understand at first. I am going to test at my office. It guess it won't page internal zones will it?
