Hello again all,
Have a CICS system. We need some basic VoIP connectivity to the system, preferably on the cheap. The plan is to hang a voip gateway off of the I-ATA port and use the system that way. The issue is obviously the phone(s) at the remote end must be analog, and the featureset is rather limited. I would like some way to use a 7208 remotely using VoIP that carrys Nortel's digital signaling, or some other proprietary way of doing it. Does Nortel or anyone else make any type of plugin boxes that will do something similar? Or does anyone have any better suggestions?
