How is the Norstar VOIP box installed/wired to the MICS system (via trunk port/station port, etc.) and programmed? Secondly, can the VOIP be programmed to reach a auto-attendant at the other end so that the caller can then press the extension dn of the person they wish to speak to? Or must it only go to one DN and then be transferred? Thanks in advanced.

Yes it connects to trunk ports and are used in line pools or routing, to connect to your destination you just dial their ext or dial the VM Dn at the destination to get the auto attendant.

Thank you very much. Finally, can it also be set up for three-digit dialing? Brochure states four.

If your systems are 3 digit then yes. But just like routing thru a t1 or pri your destination network must have the same number of digits.
