we have recently taken over maintenance of md110 pbx. The client wans to go Voip linked to a Lg IPldk and the other site has a patton Voip gateway. What is the requirement for the md110 to go Ip .
You will probably need to be on at least BC12 (I think - possibly BC13). You will need an ELU32 (or more dependent on your requirements) in the system to provide IP connectivity.
I'm not sure about the Patton gateway. Is this H.323 or SIP?
I know that the MX-ONE can do SIP trunking and think that the MD-110 can also do this but I'm not sure. I know that the MD-110 can have SIP extensions so I guess trunking is possible.
We tried years ago to interconnect an MD100 BC12 and ipLDK-100 version 3.0, but gave up as there were problems with CODEC negotiations (G.711, G723). The call setup failed due to these problems.
Maybe these problems are solved now?
