Want to change my existing 4 lines to Voip. Does the service provider just provide the voip box and I supply IP
gateway or do the the service providers have provide a proprietary IP gateway. Also how does DS work on Voip. I have clid trk cards

I would think they provide/rent the box and the IP.
Not sure if it's static IP or pay extra for that.

I myself dont recommend Voip unless you actualy need it.
Only because all customers that have it have issues compared to solid copper lines.

Does not hurt to try but dont sign any contracts is my suggestion.

Voip is easy on the pocketbook, and tends to work pretty well once you get all the bugs out, but you may find some quirks when you try to do anything besides make/take calls.
