This user has been using their VOIP phone for a few weeks. For some reason she has to unplug the power, and plug it back in the morning for it to work. ANy ideas why? Also, does Avaya support something like X-Lite the VOIP softphone?

What state is the phone in before she unplugs it?

You can use 3rd party IP endpoints with a "3rd party ip endpoint" license.

She says the phone looks normal before she power cycles it. She picks up the receiver and hears no dial tone. She dials a number and nothing happens. So she power cycles, and it's fine. But why it's doing this I have no idea.

How did you setup the system?
Do you use VLAN's
This must be a network issue, when a phone gets stuck 80% of the time check the network.
Otherwise it's wrong programming.
