VOIP HELP

Can some please tell me more about VOIP, how I get it setup, how are phones configured, do we still use a TN or does IP replace it, etc.

The Norstar VOIP gateway is a trunk side solution. having up to 4 VOIP lines into the Norstar CLID card.every thing else is the same on the norstar. You can not have station to station calling only line calling.

if your talking about tn's then your in the wrong forum you need to be in the Option forum.....

We could easily spend an entire week on VoIP. For TN's, Norstarboy is right, you need the Nortel Forum. Also, many confuse VoIP with IPT. VoIP is the transport technology to take traditional voice and packetize it in TCP format for tranport over data networks. IPT stands for IP Telephony AND deals with the equipment and telephones used on IP systems.

Try and make your questions more specific. Your question is very open ended.
