Hi Guys,

I need a help please,
Still a beginner with SIP trunks,

I have configured and connected a VoIP GSM gateway to our Mitel 3300 as a SIP Peer,

The link is established and up,

When making a test GSM calls from Mitel to the gateway, the CCS trace shows that Mitel doesn't out pulse the dialed number to the gateway, but the CPN number instead!!
and a busy tone is received,

Another question Please: i have other SIP peer using the UDP port 5060,

I've assigned port 5061 for the GSM gate way, is that OK

Your help will be appreciated,

What do you see from DGT TRACE?
DGT TRACE <dialed number>
thanks Bojo.

Nothing is shown,

the problem is that the GSM gateway is not registered in Mitel, though the link between them is up,

what makes you think the link is up?
why are you not matching ports for the trunk - both ends should be using same port
what kind of gsm gateway is it? i have done this using 2n and mediatrix before

First check could be the command "SIP Link State All" that should show IN SERVICE
If that is the case and your not seeing anything in CCS trace that would mean that your programming is incorrect.
Steps to check:
ARS Digits Dialed (the digits you dialed are in there and point to a route)
ARS Route (The route should be programmed to be the SIP peer of the GSM gateway)

On the remark of the port 5060..... The port is not used by a single peer exclusively. every peer can use 5060. Using 5061 is with TLS

Hi Billz66,
SIP link state (Peer Name) shows the link is in service,

the GSM Gateway is a DINSTAR UC2000 F type,

ports are matched in both ends,
