I have a MICS 6.1 and CICS 6.1 networked together through a VOIP Gateway. I can call site to site fine. However when trying to call local from the MICS through the CICS, all calls are dropped off at 221. Any ideas on where i need to start?

More info..

The users on the CICS pick up the phone and dial 2XX and the calls is routed fine to the MICS. When the CICS wants to dial local through the MICS the simply pick up the phone and hit 9 and the local number...lets say 9-200-1234. All calls are ending up at the recpt of the MICS.

Destination code 92
Use Pool absorb length 1

stumped :p

Do you have your remote access packages set up?

for some reason all remote access packages are set to no. Can you explain to me what needs to be done to set RAP up or is it as simple as saying yes to the package with the correct pool code.

you need to give the inbound trunks access to outbound trunks and not strip off the leading 9 so that system B can then process the call out the local line pool.

I'm tied in knots.

Do the lines need to be set as auto answer? w/DISA?

All local number end up at recpt.

This system worked fine before upgrading from R1/T1 to 6.1

The upgrade went smooth, the issue being the "remote access"

just checked and found that there is nothing set as the DISA and Auto DN. Should there be?

Build a Remote package then assign that package to the lines that are being used. The lines comming into the system and the ones that you are using to leave the system. If the remote package does not match on the lines then the system will not let you use that line.

i see where i can add the pools to the packages, but not the individual lines. need some more help...

CALL OFF THE DOGS...lol

When I upgraded the access code for Pool A was switched to 89 from 80(the access code programmed in remote switch) moved the code to 80 and all is well.

Can any one tell me why my access code changed when i upgraded??

One last question, In this same set up, the station to station calling across the VOIP gateway is not triggering CFNA. If i call from the outside to the AA, CFNA works fine. Any last thoughts?
