We have voip setup with lucent PBX, 3662 Router and 1750 2v routers.

Last week we added new 1751-v router but it is giving call initiating problem.

Extentions that are behind the PBX can't initiate calls:they can't hear ring-back tone(keep silent) and far end extention gives only one ring and stop.

Other way is OK.

Any help would be highly appriciated.

Hello Prabath, I would like more details on your problem. Based oh your descripton, it appears that the progress IE value is not being sent correctly during the call setup from the 1750 back to the PBX. This may cause the no ringback problem. What is the connection type (is it PRI?). Now regarding the far-end extension ringing just once, there are multiple possible issues. You need to break it down piece by piece. If you have a spare 2600 or another gateway with an FXS port, point that to the 1750 (VOIP dial peer), and check if the problem still remains or goes away. If it goes away, then focus on the Avaya PBX.
