Quick question:

At what point is the telephone told where (IP address) to find the media processing board?

I see in Avaya's documentation where you can establish static IP's, but not necessarily where to dictate what IP address the med-pro board is located.

you never tell the phone where/what the medpro board is.. thats all done by the definity its self.


you identify the c-lan (tn799) to the phone, it then registers.. then once you call/answer the media stream is setup dynamically.
