Voicmail Destination With FNA

Hello all. I have a request to forward calls (FNA) from a supervisors phone to their assistant's phone. No big deal, except...they don't want the call to revert to the originally dialed DN voicemail box. Instead, they want voicemail to only be left on the DN that the phone is forwarded to. I understand that this is possible with SFA but we are only forwarding once. Anyone know of a way to make voicemail destination follow the forwarded call? Also, I understand that FNA is different from Hunting so is the same possible for calls that hunt? I'll follow up with detailed set info of needed (typing on cell).

If both extensions have voice mail then your kind hosed. You can delete the Supervisors mailbox and then put the supervisors extension in the assistants mailbox as an extension DN and then it will work. However, the system is designed to carry the originally dialed number to the voice mail, no way getting around that.

Thanks for your response. I went with the mailbox removal option to make it work. I knew that was an option but thought I'd check to see if anyone had alternate options in for the scenario where they wanted to keep the mailbox. Thanks again!
