Voicemails not appearing, or appearing late

Hello all,

I wonder if you can help. Users are complaining that voicemails on our BCM aren't appearing - that is, their mailboxes appear empty, but some hours later, or even the next day, previous days' messages then appear in the mailbox.

Is there a fix for such a problem? Has anyone experienced it before?

Any help would be appreciated.

have you checked to see if you have all the latest patches? I know there are several patches for the voicemail portion of the BCM.
 
I would verify that all the patches are up to date ( don't
forget that the BCM is equivalent to Windows XP, must keep
updating with patches). I would go onto the Nortel website
and download the cumulative patch (BCM_360.130_CUMULATIVE.99.2) and install it, remembering that the that the BCM will be down for approx 30-45 minutes.

Have you tried a reboot on the BCM?

 
Forgive me, I'm a newby. Is the above information accurate for a BCM 50? Will a patch update really take the PBX down for 30-45 minutes? If not, roughly how long does a patch update take on a BCM 50?

What sort of system have you got a BCM 50 or BCM 200????
