Our Startalk Voicemail is doing something wierd.

We have an Autoattendant pick up after 5 rings if the receptioist doesnt answer. This functions fine, however after the autoattendant picks up and goes through the options, the phone system immedialty goes into another greeting listing other options that we didnt record.

Any idea what this could be?

What's the system, and how have you set up the call handling system? Check the 'greetings' that are scheduled to play against the AA/CCR main greetings that are programmed.

If the menu you did not record is like "for a company directory, press #, for an operator, press 0....", then maybe you have the option "AA Menu Prompt=Yes".

That option is set in each greeting table, and can be turned off by changing it to "No". Then you will have to record your own "aa menu prompt", which can be just a momentary blank recording if you don't want anything in this prompt spot.

On further thought.. it may be that you have recorded your company info in the Greetings and allowed the AA to = Y so the net effect is that the custom greeting plays and then the precanned AA plays.
Phoneygirl had the nub of it. Check your timed greetings and see if this is so.
