voicemail upgrade

I need to upgrade a voicemail on a Partner ACS, the customer has a 4 mailbox PCM/CIA and I need to upgrade it to the 12 mailbox PCM/CIA card, what all is involved in this? I've installed these before, but never upgraded. Any advice will be appreciated.

You will need the Partner Messaging PC Card release 3.0 (Large).Works just like the old one but it can be set up to handle 4 to 16 mailboxes in multiples of 2. The only changes would be in voice mail not the switch.

Yeah the customer already has the new card, so all I have to do is replace the old one correct? Do I need to power down the system to do this?

Yes, power down before replacing. If in doubt always power off a system before replacing any components.
