Voicemail transfer 1

In reading the instructions for using call forwarding, it says that I can forward calls to my voice mail by pressing the call fwd key and my voicemail key. On the M174, it does not appear that I have a "voice mail" key.. just a open vm and transfer vm. Does anybody know the feature code to the "voicemail" key so that when I want my calls to go straight to voicemail I can just press call fwd and the voicemail key??

depending on what your voicemail is you can either use feature 9 8 4 (voice mail transfer for the norstar applications module voicemail) or do the following
1. dial feature 9 8 5 and write down the number that displays, this is the voice mail extension number.
2. dial feature 4 (forward) then the extension of voice mail.
the last option is to program a key to be the forward key.
1. dial feature * 3 then press the button you want to program. next dial Feature 4. the button is now programmed.
2. press the programed forward key then dial the voicemail extension number.
No you cannot just press the forward and then the voicemail key since the voicemail key is actually a feature button. JerryReeve
