I am having problem with call transfer from voicemail to mobile. I am using 3300ICP Rel.4.1. When I put speed dial number in the voicemail option 2 it just rings on the mobile once and then straight away comes back to the voicemai options. Is it something to do with some timer? Or Can I increase some timer that it rings 5 or more times at least? Thank all for help.

Change the Transfer recall timer for the voicemail - Default is 17 seconds.

Hi kwbmitel thanks for your reply. But I couldnt find the Transfer recall timer in COS options. But one option called No Answer Recall timer and it is by default set to 17 seconds. Should I change that? Thank you once again.

yes, no answer recall - set to 25 or 30 seconds

the timer you need is in the voicemail options form
Transfer Ringback Timeout this 17 sec by default set this to 30 secs

Check the party being transferred is not COR or Interconnect restricted from the trunk used for the outbound call.

@Supernova: Yes and No.

If supervised transfer is enabled, (Usually not), then the voicemail options timer applies.

If not using supervised transfer then the COS option applies.

Chinroc - Can the call be answered if you are quick enough?

@kwb: Yes I do understand that, however by default the transfer ringback timer acts as described (supervised) where it will ring the mobile for 1 or 2 secs then take you back to voicemail.
