Voicemail to Email!

Hello all! got strange one for you guys, I am having issues with an IPO V10.1 with embedded VM. Currently had it set up to send voicemail to Email using Office 365 and it worked great for a few months but unfortunately just stopped and this is what monitor shows.

We have tried about 10 different e-mail accounts and all are getting the same Error, also tried making new accounts with G-mail Ext.

Has anyone run across this issue?

You did tick the smtp filter correct on the monitor trace

I know in earlier versions if for any reason it can't send emails after a few tries embedded will give up trying. A reboot will fix it for a while. A local mail relay is what we usually do if it happens a lot.

I've just got this useful feature working for a customer today on a V11 system. I was using a new gmail account on the IPO and I couldn't get it to work. In my case, I found that I couldn't connect it via my outlook application which was helpful as a search on Dr Google told me that I had to turn off the unsecured devices box so that I could use other email applications to send out from.

Joe2938: that was one of the 1st things I did!

Budbyrd: yeah, unfortunately any change you make in SMTP requires a restart... so I have restarted it about 10 times... no go :(

Firebird scrambler: was that setting in the G-mail account settings??

Changes to network? Also check the DNS settings in monitor to make sure that it is resolving the FQDN of the SMTP server you are using. Show the rest of the monitor trace after you do that. Do you see an SMTP error in SSA?

Hello Chris

Yes, it was a setting in the Gmail account to turn off unsecured devices. Once I had this done, I added the gmail account onto my own computer and looked in the sent folder to see that emails were sent out OK.
