I've read alot of posts regarding this but nothing that mirrors what I am trying to do. Customer has an IPO rel 9.0 with a UC module. The customer does not have an email server, they are using gmail, however, their email addresses are not myname@gmail.com, they are myname@xyzcompany.com. Some how, gmail knows how to translate the differences in email addresses.
Here is how VMPro is set up in preferences:
domain = xyzcompany.com
server = smtp.gmail.com
port = 465 (I have tried 25)
identifier = vmpro@xyzcompany.com
authentication = yes
user name = voicemail@xyzcompany
password = entered
I am not getting any voicemails sent to the customer's email accounts. They are set up in the users tab of the IPO. Any suggestions? Is there a way to monitor the email traffic on the IPO so I can see where this is failing?
