I have a problem setting up voicemail to email with a customer. I have the SMTP set to go out using a gmx.com box I set up. It works fine when I use my e-mail address(hosted by AppRiver). However the customer's exchange server seems to be rejecting it. I get the following undeliverable message:

A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of
its recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address
failed:
"EMAIL ADDRESS REMOVED":
mail exchanger not found, name="65.254.254.52"
They use FatCow to host their exchange server. I've never used them before but I did go in and check spam filters etc and they aren't set to be screened for spam at all and I whitelisted the @gmx.com domain just to be safe. Has anyone run into this issue? I found it odd that the error says mail exchanger not found. If it were blocking the message I would expect to see a "rejected" message of some sort. Any help on this is appreciated.
