voicemail to email

Hi, we have one user setup with voicemail to email. Is there a way to not have the voicemails collect on his phone ext? He doesn't even look at his extension now that his voicemail to email is working again. Last time he checked he had over 1900 voicemails. We have Avaya IP Office Manager 6.2.

Change it from Copy to Forward.

now that his voicemail to email is working again

And when it stops working again, those messages will be lost forever. Make sure he knows that, or keep it as copy and make him clear out his mailbox from time to time

Or set the houskeeping to delete new messages older then 30 days.
