Voicemail to email question

I picked up a client that has an older IP Office 403 (3.2(17)) and Voicemail Pro 4.2 and they want to use the voicemail to email feature. I've tried several suggestions on how to get this working with no good result. Before I bang my head on this any further, I was wondering if upgrading the VM Pro (or IPO) to a later version will kelp to make this work. Thanks for your help.
