I have an IP Office 406 4.2(14) with voicemail pro +8 ports for a total of 12 available voicemail ports.

This is on a PRI with 23 channels (22? 26? -whatever)

I cannot get a voicemail sent to email!

It worked a couple years ago, then just stopped one day (I think it may have been after an upgrade)

Since then, I have tried everything I know.

In control panel, the voicemail pro is currently set up to use my own server 2003, and validates fine.

I have also tried using gmail, godaddy(secureserver.net), and AT&T. all "Validate" fine.

I DO receive system emails, like
"Voicemail Server Is Operational"

But never a forwarded email with a voicemail attachment.

Over the years, I have even replaced the computer and operating system, from an XP computer to SERVER 2003.

I even installed outlook and tried emailing through that (mapi??) but nothing.

Any ideas on what I am missing?

You could try to change vmpro, press F9 switch it to SMTP save then change it back to MAPI.

system emails are sent from the IPO itself. check the settings in there nd see what you have against the VM Pro settings.

Also, check if your exchange sever is seeing them as spam. Some exchange sever Spam settings are a little keen.

It might be more on the exchange side than the VM Pro.

Football is not a matter of life and death-It is far more important!!!!

I usually have to get the IT people to allow the VM Pro machine to relay through the exchange server.

I think newer versions of exchange block by default and you have to tell it which ip addresses (or range of addresses) are allowed to send mail through it.
