Does anyone know if the problem referenced in the above thread is still an issue in R10.1 or R11? I've run into this problem in release 10.0.0.2.

Summary: When sending a voicemail-to-email message, if the caller ID field has a comma (such as "Dallax, TX"), it's not properly escaped and the email is rejected by most smtp servers.

Answering my own post here.

Apologies -- I see that this fix is actually available on R10.0.0.3 and R10.1 SP1 and later per Avaya.

Interestingly, when I originally opened a ticket for this through Avaya, the engineer said it wasn't considered a bug because it worked when sending via Exchange.
