Hi,

I am new to this forum, but there seems to be a wonderful amount of information here. I need some help picking the best voice mail system for our office.

We just bought a Partner ACS 6.0 and 308EC module (not even installed yet). I want to purchase a voice mail module but that seems like a dificult task figuring out the right one to buy. I currently have about 12 people in the office (not all necessarily need voice mail). I don't want to spend a ton of money and I did notice there is a PC Card voicemail option. I am afraid 110 minutes of VM storage may be too small. Are there any other limitations with this PC card? Is there anyway I can find a list of available VM cards?

Thanks for your help!

Hi pshull,
I would recommend the Partner Mail R6 or R7. The PVM cards are extremely limited in what they can do. There is only one greeting for attendant, no announcements.
You can get the Partner mail as a two port and expand that as you need. You have two main greetings for each of the four auto attendants, plus enough features to keep you learning for a while. On top of this, the unit will go on a lan so you can program and back up the thing from your computer. Also, now you can access your mailbox from your computer.
You will need a five slot carrier, but you should be using that anyhow. The two slot carriers are famous for cooking processors.
