Hi,
I am getting an alarm that states: Voicemail storage. Current state: Storage Full.
VoiceMail Type was Embedded Voicemail. Now I changed it to None.

Could I do format and recreate SD for remote IPO500 without missing current working configuration?

Thanks for your any replies.

No need to recreate or format.
Hook up your PC with a serial cable to the IPO and use putty or another comms program to access IPO ( 38400,8,N,1 )
Type AT, a prompt should return.
Type at-debug ( no capitals )
A date-time prompt appear
type ivm-msg-del-all
All embedded IVM messages will be deleted freeing up all occupied disc space.

I have no direct access to IPO500.

Then get access as you need to.
Or tell them that all users should delete there voicemail messages.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

I can't use serial connection, because I can't directly access to IPO500. Only remote access.

go on system status, see who's mailbox is full and get them to clear their mailbox. or add corresponding source number of the full extn's to a particular phone and get them to empty the full mailboxes off one phone. assuming visual voice is on (lots of press four for someone)

Then step in your car and go there...

Or let a bussenisspartner go there..

You asked a question, you got an answer..

Now it's up to you to take action..

Only remote access sounds like you do not want to go onsite.

Only remote access sounds like I cant go onsite that 15000km from me.

You can delete them from Embedded file management.
System-dynamic-lvmail

OK, that is a valid reason for not going on site :)

Via Embedded file management all of files from System-dynamic-lvmail were deleted.

15000 is not a valid reason for not going to site
if you have taken the money for maintenance you should either attend or get someone more local to attend on your behalf.

A Maintenance contract is essential, not a Luxury.

Then you deleted all the recorded greetings as well... They must be thrilled on the other side [smile]

Kind regards

Could you please describe reason to go onsite if we have full of remote control to do all of it?

##OFFTOPIC

No need to go [smile]

I've used the same technique, but I was careful not deleting the greetings.
You can see if the file is a greeting or not, by checking their attributes.

Now, you just cleaned out the entire folder, so they need to re-record their greetings.

Kind regards

Gunnar

I was sure 100% that do not use any greetings

I can provide many reasons.

To replace fault equipment
To perform programming tasks that require user input & are not practical to complete remotely (reprogramming of auto attendants often fall into this category as getting the customer to record greetings can be award)

And of course erasing the mailboxes of an embedded VM because the customer hasn't realised that messages have been being left in an unmonitored mailbox. :)

If you are lucky you may be able to charge for this however my guess is that VM was left enabled on a group that did not require it an no user was configured with access to that mailbox (I will leave you to draw your own conclusions about the quality of the installation if this is the case).

In any case if you are maintaining a system then there is always the possibility you may need to attend site.

Dear All,
I was sure on 100% that:
1) No more need any VoiceMail products
2) No more need any greeting

The question was just...how to clear Error Message REMOTELY without any additional administration tasks.

Please close this topic. Thank you all for your help, and someone for the offtopic.
