Hello everyone,
I have a customer with an IPO 8.0 and doesn't want to use visual mail and doesn't want to dial *17 + extension number + password.
Can I set a short code that automatically puts the caller’s extension in, and they just enter their password?

Thanks for your help

turn off visual voice on the system/voicemail tab on the IPO and then the messages button will revert to the audio prompts rather than VV

Untick the visual voice option in the system tab, then when they press the "Messages" button it takes them straight into VM no extn or pw required, deleting the entry in the users source numbers will prompt for password only.

(The above assume IP Office mode, not the overly option ridden Intuity mode) :)

Also under user source tab have Vxxxx (xxxx being the extension).

The when they press the vm Button from "their" phone they can just press # and it will prompt for password

Heard back from the customer today.
Pressing # instead of their extension number works great.
Another happy customer.
Thanks everyone for your quick responses!
