voicemail short code???

can some one give me an example of a short code!!
I need to send calls to a persons voicemail directly.

SC: #1001
TN: "#TheBoss"
F: VoicemailCollect

To use, with customer on line who wants to leave voicemail for TheBoss and not ring his phone, transfer #1001 transfer.

Worked dok when I set up and tested but later on it stopped working, needed to do it with the user name as above to get it to work again

Officialy the IPO (& alchemy before it) required user name for the VM to work.

If it worked in some versions this was against the documentation & should therefore be regarded as a bug

If you use the installation wizard to add your users, it adds those shortcodes for you!

Manager:
Short Code: #56
Telephone Number: VMTrans
Line Number: 0
Feature: VoiceMailNode

Voice Mail Pro:
Short Code: VMTrans
Connect to Menu Action, add touch tone with first digit corresponding to dial plan then ??? for additional digits
Connect to Leave Mail Action with Specific Tab set as $KEY

To use: Press transfer, dial #56 and then mailbox number of any user, press transfer again to complete

Manager also creates VM transfer shortcodes for each user that work great as long as they don't end up conflicting with other numbers on the switch. I usually try to modify my shortcodes because it's much easier for the user to press. "transfer, #extn", this it is to press, "transfer, shortcode (for vmtransfer) extension number and transfer (or hungup) again.
