Does anyone know if there is a way of changing the * option on the 3300 embedded voicemail? It would be useful to change it to something else.

We have had an issue with Toll Fraud, but the EU is unhappy that people can press zero and try to break into Mailboxes.

I have had a response from Mitel saying that they cannot be changed, so will inform him that.

Here is a Document from Mitel on the subject.

We have followed Mitels recommendations, but the Customer is not happy that I cannot guarantee that the system will not get hacked ever again.

If you restrict the voicemail ports to local only, and restrict the trunks to local only, external hackers can waste their time all they want. Nothing they can do will cost anything.

If you have an internal abuse issue, then the solution is more difficult (but somethimes easier to deal with, as in "You're Fired")
