We have Voicemail reception setup so a caller can press 0 to be transfered to the operator when they get somebody's greeting. This works fine, but the only problem I have is sometimes I get complaints because the a few callers wait to press 0 after the beep and then they get "invalid Entry". Is there something I can setup in Voicemail pro that would allow a user to press 0 after the beep and also be transfered to the operator?

i would suggest leaving a second or two of silence at the end of the greeting before the beep kicks in. then you give them enough time to press 0

To answer your original question, no, once the call has hit the recording stage the breakout options are no longer available.

I BELIEVE that after the beep a caller can dial *0 to breakout. I've raised this with Avaya to no avail. Simply have your users re-record their greetings to say "If you want to reach the operator and can make a quick decision press zero. If you're a bit more sluggish and can't dial before the beep, dial star zero" :)
