I have an issue with the voicemail reception feature in a 2.1.27 system.

I have a bad feeling I won't be able to get around this one.

I have a customer who has all of their users' "Voicemail Reception" going to ext.300.

300 is the "Main" hunt group with 3 active members.

When I call into the system, get the user's voicemail, hit "0", I first hear their recorded name, then it transfers.

The customer DOES NOT want the recorded name to play. Is there any way around this?

thanks in advance.

Cheers,
CJ

UPDATE!!:

Ok, here is one way I was able to get around the "little" issue.

I had to create a user in VMPro under, you guessed it. Users.

I had a "Leave" action under the name. Then i had the following flow:

Start -> Main Menu -> Press 1 and Timeout go to the "Listen" action and Press 0 goes to the Main hunt group. (The "Listen" action specific goes to the user's mailbox)

The thing I noticed that HAD to be there for this to work was the Greeting needed to be recorded. Once that was done, I could press 0 within the users mailbox and I was transferred to the Main hunt group without a name being played first.

If anybody has a way to streamline this, any input would be greatly appreciated.

Again, Thanks!!

CJ
