We had some storms last night but everything but 1XP is working fine. I do know that the power was lost because my desk phone was not logged in when I got to work this morning. My 1XP mobile app was not working but I figured that the service just needed to be restarted. When I returned to the office this afternoon I shut down the system and pulled the power on it. I powered the system back up, started the 1XP service and then left thinking i would get a notification that my 1XP is connected. Needless to say that never happened.... I was getting the error message that "User does not have appropriate license" which is odd because it was working before. Once I got home i remoted in and checked my user and license on the system and all of them were valid. I logged into the UC module and the service was running so I tried to log into my 1XP and it says "system is currently unavailable, please wait". I selected the Administrator login and it logged in ok. I looked under the Providers tab and the first thing I noticed is that CSTA-Provider had failed. Then I looked at the next page and VOICEMAIL-Provider is stuck on Starting. Does anyone know what may have caused this and most importantly how to fix it?

Specs
IP Office IP500V2 8.0.42
UC Module v8.0.8-13.el6

That should have happened when I restarted the IP Office since 1XP is on the C110 UC module in the system.

When you restart the IPO then the UCM/C110 does not restart!

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

But I did a complete shutdown then pulled the power from the system for about a minute.

That is not a reboot.
Also you should not do that, the UCM is a server and servers do not like that.
I suggest a reinstall of one x portal which is done quickly.

I have also restarted the UC Module this morning before anyone get to work. It is still having the same problem.

Once again thanks for your help. I will try reinstalling 1XP and see if that fixes the issue. Thanx again!

Ok so I think I figured out what was going on. I forgot that when we were working with our demo cabinet here in the office we had 1XP and VM Pro running on another server since we didn't have the UC module in the demo. You see where this is going right? Uninstalled both from existing server and reinstalled 1XP on the UC module and reset security settings. It is back up and running with a BIG face palm......

That could be the problem indeed.
