My problem is that if a user dials voicemail from his set, it prompts him for mailbox number. I set the checkbox for enable auto login. However, that fully logs in the user without a password. I have the set and the mailbox associated. So how can I make it remember the mailbox, and require password still?

Making matters worse, can a user call his DID and avoid dialing his vm number? I have some users complaining because the old system did not require to enter your vm number. Just password.

As alwasy, thanks in advance

You have Callpilot interface set in your voicemail COS. When prompted for a mailbox from the set you are trying to access vmail from, if you hit the # key it will prompt for the password. However if you change your voicemail interface to NVM (norstar voicemail interface) it will prompt you for the password immediately.

With either interface when you remotely access your voicemail, you will still have to enter both dn and password.
