Hi team, I have a site running vm pro R10

One of the user's voicemail is playing up, the person records a new personal greeting, it works a few days and reverts to the old original greeting.

What could be causing this?

is the greeting a new recording of the same greeting number or a different one and the setting is just switching in the intuity.txt file ?

Windows or Linux ?

Hi Westi, I have not been to the site yet to test this further, this is what I got from the client

He records a new voice mail message and it works for a period of time then it reverts back to the original message.
We have tried changing it multiple times. It's embarrassing as the old message has the old business name in it.

that is a mailbox or the auto attendant?

sounds like the auto attendant.

First do a wav file backup, then delete the old greeting in question and have them re-record it. Emphasis on backup first :)

If it is a mailbox greeting you can do the same thing, get the greeting out of the greetings folder and then delete it and then have them re-record it.

There was a release which had issues with prompts reverting if recording from different sources (phone, VMPro client, etc). That was fixed, so the question would be are you on the latest 10.0 service pack?

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.
