Voicemail Pro stops responding periodically 1

About once a week we need to restart the voicemail pro service because it is not working. The service never actually stops. I do not see anything in the event viewer. There may be a correlation between VM channel or VCM licenses getting full possibly? Any thoughts?
 
What version and hardware are you running on. Recently had to upgrade to the latest 11.1 for this on 500v2. It would show no available channels for voicemail but everything looked fine. Rebooting the 500 would fix it for a day or two. Voicemail was running on the app server.
 
I have seen that with network congestion. Try getting a small 4 port switch, connect it to the VM Pro Server, IP Office, and the rest of the network. The IPO and VM Pro will be able to communicate through that small switch without interference from the rest of the network.

Not sure if you'll see this but have this issue going on at one of the customers. Voicemail channels will lock up saying all of them are in use when they are not. We have the customer on 11.1.2.4 (latest) for both IPO and VM Pro.

Going out next week as the Avaya Engineer that we spoke to recommends us to replace the V2 and rebuild the configuration.

It basically locks up every single day and we have to reboot the 500v2 to resolve the issue.
 
What type of external trunks is a key question?

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

We had that issue with a few locations found in the release notes of 11.1SP2FP4 a fix, we upgraded the sites and now have not heard an issues since.

Server Edition?
Virtual installation?
Weekly backup using VMware tool like Veeam?
-> change the time of backup job.

 
Virtual App Server (Hyper-V) that we've deployed to numerous customers. Avaya Engineer is recommending we replace the V2 and rebuild the config from scratch. Weirdest issue I've had so far.

Have another issue with two customers on 11.1.2.4 where voicemail type goes to "none" but the service is still running and we have to restart the service. This is getting annoying.
